The mission of the Veterinary Diagnostic Ultrastructural Pathology Service (VDUP) is to provide electron microscopy diagnostic solutions to the veterinary community, pathologists, and researchers throughout the US and abroad.
The VDUP is a state-of-the art laboratory, fully acreddited, certified, and licensed, and under the direction of an experienced ACVP Board-Certified Veterinary Pathologist. The VDUP specializes in the diagnosis of diseases of domestic and wildlife animals including invertebrate and vertebrate, terrestrial, or aquatic species.

Note: A $10 accession fee will be applied to all submissions. Additional charges may apply if samples are submitted in paraffin blocks, or if images are requested. Please contact Dr. Anibal Armien for more information. All fees are in US $.
Note on days tested and turnaround times: Samples must be received at least one business day before the scheduled testing day. New client accounts can take up to 2-3 business days to establish before testing can begin. Samples may not always be tested on the first scheduled day after they arrive; however, it is our goal to complete testing within the posted turnaround time. If rush testing is desired, please contact us.
